Fundamentally a private person, Livia shares little of herself with the world. She is both incredibly proficient at her work in wrangling misfits for a small lawless enterprise, and also profoundly exhausting as a person.Some time ago, Livia contracted with Sister Andora Cabot of the Halonic Church to operate the Ivory Consortium. She oversees the organization's money laundering operations, distributes assignments, and enforces its few rules.
Personal Preferences
I am located on Balmung server and live in the CST timezone!Criminal, horror, intrigue, and dark themes with elements of comedy are my favorite and best suited to Livia's character! I have a very dry humor and that comes out a lot in Livia in both the way I play her and in her own humor. The way I write Livia provides that she exists in a somewhat grounded and low-power setting since I enjoy more realistic stories, and I also consider the lore to be more of a framework than set of rules! That being said, aspects of my writing which are more rooted in my imagination than the lore are typically reserved for personal RP with trusted writing partners.I appreciate when RP partners talk with me OOC about major/permanent changes or ideas that impact Livia, and try to do the same. I also prefer partners who are comfortable reaching out OOC when they are not having a great time so that we can address it! Bounty Hunters and Law Enforcement: Livia’s poor judgment has implicated her in a number of crimes. Be it a misunderstanding or completely justified, her likeness has made it to wanted posters for crimes ranging from solicitation to murder in the Shroud and Thanalan.Missing Person: Livia is technically a missing person, having not returned to her family home after 10 summers of age. In the cycles following her disappearance, her name earned a certain degree of exposure in Vylbrand on an account of her family having had the resources to fund an extensive search.Family Legacy: The Crane family is marked by gifted conjurors. They employed a modest staff, and both Livia’s parents continue to work as physicians. Her mother, Marigold, teaches about the Twelve to small children once a week and has since she was a young adult. Before the area had an established settlement, the Cranes often performed autopsies for unusual deaths in the greater Middle La Noscea area. Anyone local to the area might be familiar with the family.Other: Characters with ties to specific regions may recognize Livia- if you're interested in running it past me I can share if a character might know if her based on the location they're from and the ties to it they have.
